The expansion of the US legal sports betting industry since the 2018 Supreme Court decision to overturn its blanket ban has been remarkable to say the least. Tipico officially went live with its sportsbook in the “King of the Bet-Friendly US States”, New Jersey this week after securing approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) back in September. It is seen as the first of many steps the German provider plans to take in the US market. The company already plans expansion with an iGaming platform which will also be launched in the Empire State.
